I can’t say enough good things about my hunt at the LJS Hunting Lodge. I saw a lot of deer
and the nice thing about the hunt is I was able to make suggestions and move some of my own setups
around – actually hunt vs. being dropped off at some stand a told “That’s your spot.” During my 2010
archery hunt at LJS Lodge I was not disappointed. I truly experienced an incredible hunt – my most
memorable. We came up with a plan in the morning – set the stand and that evening I got to experience
a hunt that you only ever see on the Outdoor Channel which led to the harvest of a
mature Whitetail buck.
The only bad thing I can say is due to the Iowa draw process I can’t go back every year and hunt
with the folks that provided me with overwhelming hospitality during my stay.
